Wine career pursued in San Francisco and currently consulting in Los Angeles, I have been striving to make sure that the guest experience matters more than the wine. However, there are those times when you taste a wine, and it transports you to another level of living.  I want to be that person who brings you to that level. Background

When my passion in wine transformed into a career, I knew that work was never going to feel like work. It was going to be an incredible, eye-opening journey. Although wine was not introduced to me at an early stage (like having a fully stocked family cellar or being raised in the wine country), my interest in wine soared when I was 23. I knew nothing about wine, other than the fact that there were sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines. Little by little, I started picking up all the wine jargon, wine regions, correlating grape varieties and blinding wines to an almost T. Learning about wine spent many arduous, but gratifying hours. Due to my lack of early exposure and my serious pursuit to learn about wine, I have been able to understand the tastes and preferences from a large range of customers. My services as a wine consultant benefit restaurants seeking great offerings to pair with their dishes, to people interested in starting their own collection, but lack wine acumen, to the wine connoisseur who loves imbibing and sharing fine wines at his or her events.

A big reason why I choose to work in the wine industry is that wine is produced almost everywhere in the world. And damn, do I like to travel! I loved taking my bi-monthly Napa Valley and Sonoma visits when I lived in San Francisco. Thus far, I have visited Reims (Champagne), Bordeaux, Burgundy, Piedmont, California’s Central Coast, and the Finger Lakes. Now, I thirst to visit all the glorious wine regions in the world, especially with the Alto Adige, Mosel, and New Zealand on top of my list.
